Mining is a long-term business, and so our business strategy aims to create sustained value over the period of our mining operations and beyond.
This involves the careful allocation of resources to actively manage our activities as we try to mitigate negative impacts from our operations and ensure positive outcomes. We look to continually improve the value proposition we provide to our hosts and investors, creating more growth opportunities.
There have been a number of fundamental changes made to our Operating Model, both in response to the external environment and internal performance, so that the Company can be successful, relevant and sustainable for many generations to come. We recognise that many of these changes have had a profound impact on parts of the business and on many individuals and teams, and have sought to work closely with and support our colleagues at this time.
